I was using the 100mm macro and the skipper was about 12cm away from the lens. My setup was supported by Manfrotto Micro Positioning Plate and tripod. The focusing rail or positioning plate allows me to move the setup nearer to the object. You can check it's specificiation at this site http://www.manfrotto.com/product/tem...=12&itemid=677

#1 and #3 is . Fantastic detail in the skipper shot, the exposure is spot on too. Well done, thanks for sharing.
