Yeah gotta have deep pockets for this one.
Even the DFA 645 55mm F2.8 AL [IF] SDM AW lens that comes with it costs around S$1,500.
Looks like ring type SDM motor is now used.

I downloaded the first pic (building scene, JPG version) and was blown away with the details, especially when zoomed to max. Feels like you actually there

i know lots of detail ... isn't that to be expected for a MF...

but i thought can show nicer pics rather than random snap shots... maybe can pass to me, i go shoot some xmm, see how much details can extract from the pores...

Oh I see. Silly me for not thinking what you are thinking I want to see some XMM photos too

Was at Bic Camera at Tokyo yesterday queuing up to pay for my $30 shutter release when I saw this guy in front of me purchasing a 645D including lens and many other items (including a filter) - looks like a complete set. Price? The register displayed 848,000 yen (including VAT).
    That's about S$13,000.

    Wow...

    Wow...
    Company tabbed.
I say the lens is the soul of a camera. What about the body? Well, it's just the body...

    Wow...
Wonder what's included other than the body, the price looks like a great bargain if at least the 55/2.8 lens is included.

Yes, the lens is definitely included as I saw the box. However, the packaging box for the 645D is not very attractive - just plain white with the words "645D" on it. But then, who buys the camera for the box, right?

I wonder if my company will pay for this? Heh...
