    Default Quick Question on masks in CS5

    !! need help!!

    Doing a mask on a Gaussian filter. Somehow when I try to paint-black the eye area, the area im painting becomes a white area (rectangular!) and the other selection becomes black!

    see the screenies below:


    On drawing one black dot on the eye when mask is selected....this happens:



    geez..and I've done this in CS4 no problem..i wonder why...some settings i forgot to change?

    weird box looking thing..making me frustrated ~~~ i draw a dot and they inverse the whole thing wth....with a weird rectangular shape (BIG!) to boot

    Sure later when I get back home. Was wondering if low in scratch disc will cause such problems
