    CONGRATULATIONS HOLLAND !

This is the third times Holland have entered the world cup final. They reached two consecutive World Cup finals in 1974 and 1978, but lost both finals to their respective host nations, West Germany and Argentina.

This time the host nation is South Africa, so wish you Luck

Default Five Ways Germany Can Beat Spain

Five Ways Germany Can Beat Spain

    According to Yahoo :

    http://g.sports.yahoo.com/soccer/wor...manycanbe.html

    1) Stretch The Spanish Midfield

    2) Put ‘Em Under Pressure

    3) Have A Hero’s Performance From Philipp Lahm

    4) Force David Villa Out Wide

    5) Be Efficient

I am confidence the Germany will be the FOUR-TIME WORLD CUP WINNERS

The Uruguay team with the cheater lost.
    How nice.
Instinctive hand block, my foot. He is a blatant cheat.

Red card is meaningless at the very end of the match.

One thing he managed to do.

He showed how stupid the referees are.

A no nonsense referee would just award Ghana the goal. And - don't give the cheat a red card.

Its like calling a bank robber a hero for donating money to the poor... Sorry, right is right, wrong is wrong... FIFA is going to the dogs. I wished they would go all the way and have a Gladiator World Cup... any form of tackle and body contact is allowed... if you don't train hard enough to toughen up, if your legs get broken, then too bad... that would be more fitting to FIFA now. Rubbish. I am finding football becoming like American entertainment wrestling. All loads of rubbish. If FIFA has any sense of worth, they should award Ghana the goal and ban Uruguay from the next World Cup.

FIFA's moral has become an oxymoronic term. What rubbish.

    Congrats Spain !
Once again you have shown your SUPERIOR BALL POSSESSION, after you showed it during Portugal match.

Whoever Netherlands or Spain, the World will have a new champion this 2010.

Spain made the Germans looks like school boys.... -->
Without Thomas Muller, looked like the counter attack plan by the young Germans were not effective anymore .

Due Torsten Frings suspension made Germany lost to Italy in final world cup 2006.
This time, suspension of the fast striker Thomas Muller made Germany lost to Spain in 2010.

As in 2014 the World Cup would be held in Brazil, it's unlikely the Germans could survive there.

Fate for Germany, they need to wait for another 8 years to win World Cup

Puyol played very well in defence even after scoring. No theatrics.
I hate to see players after scoring a goal run towards the press to have his solo photo taken and shaking off his team mates who congratulate him - kiasu to share a moment of glory with his team mates. Puyol does not do that.
Pedro the selfish idiot refused to pass to an unmarked Torres.
Spain needed to score 2 for insurance.
This is a mistake Spain cannot afford to make.
Because Germany is dangerous until the whistle is blown.
If Germany scored 1-1 then Spain is gone. Germany is hard to beat in extra time.
    The coach quickly replaced Pedro.
Pedro better wake up and stop his nonsense if he plays Holland.

The 1974 Germany team is better than this 2010.
In 1974 Germany had Beckenbauer, SeppMaier in goal, Grabowski, Gerd Muller, Uli Hoeness, Gunter Netzer - great midfielder.
Have you seen Uli Hoeness control the wing? Terrific winger.

The words and behavior of the German Coach after losing is very professional and high class. He walked over to shake hands with the Spanish coach. The French coach-idiot better learn from the German coach, some manners.

    I didn't watch football in 1974.

But I have watched football in 1990, in the era when Germany won their 3rd Word Cup.
And that's the best German I saw. All of their key players were from Inter Milan

    Defender : Andreas Brehme
    Midfielder : Lothar Matthäus (captain)
    Striker : Jürgen Klinsmann

Very true. Was watching and saw this as well. If I am the coach, I will be giving him a long hard scolding to this idiot and would make sure he understand an important factor about football, TEAMWORK!

You mean Pedro Rodriguez right ?
I don't think he will be chosen in the starting line up against Holland.
Duo Fernando Torres - David Villa will be back in the front line again.

This would be a lesson to Pedro Rodriguez to choose teamwork as first priority !

pedro was the livewire that caused the most problems for germany. he's a bit inexperienced on the international stage, so can be excused his "foolish/selfish exuberance". he should be wiser now, and still deserves to be in the starting lineup. spain would still have the luxury of using torres as a super sub. vicente del bosque is a wily old fox who knows how best to pick his team, and he knows that spain have been more dangerous with pedro replacing torres in attack.

What happened to Torres ? He was the hero in Euro 2008.
He was always in the Spain starting eleven, except on the semifinal against Germany.

He looks like a rusty steel now ! He has scored nothing so far.

Same case with Messi from Argentina, scored nil

Bad news for Germany, they will come without their striker, Lukas Podolski, due to Influenza Virus
