The South Koreans are doing pretty well. Hope they can progress further, but the last-16 stage is going to be very tough (and very interesting to watch!)

Au Revoir France! You never deserved to be in this tournament to begin with!
The irony of it all? The first goal was scored from the shoulder and not the head!

Diego Maradona: ďMessi will play, because he always wants to play and I love that. When I told him, he was super happy. We had been thinking of giving him a rest but to have a player of the class of Leo, the best in the world by a long way without doubt, it would have been a sin not to give him to the team, to the people, not give ourselves (the pleasure).Ē

Against Greece, Maradona will force Messi to play ? And even make him as a Captain !
    Madarona, are you kidding !

I hope Messi will get injured during the Game or Red Card, which would make my Brazil path to the Final become much easier
    NO WAY! ARGENTINA!!!!

France is back home for bread and fries!
Mexico will end at top 16. Dont think they can beat Argentina for top 8 spot.

anyways. according to news, seems like after the 2-1 with brazil, north korea decided to make a live broad cast of the match to their county. and they ended the cast when it was 0-4 and swapped to factories praising their great leader. amazing

Could you guess what was Domenech saying to Parreira ?

ďI donít want to talk to you because you make bad words against my national team... For the life of me I canít remember what I have said"

    So lame statement

Seriously... no sportsmanship. What kind of example does he lead for his team? No wonder there are cliques in the team.

This from one of the smallest countries in the world. Thanks Starhub and Singtel. Your stupidity made us pay for it.
There was a thread? Sorry, did not really follow WC until now. Me not a big fan of football, only occasionally check about its news.

Is it because both channels want monopoly of the event? What a shame...

thanks to jeff7id for putting up that video.

watched it on tv last night, but i had no idea what was going on between domenech and parreira. the commentator was clueless too.

kinda miss 2-man commentary teams for this world cup; gets boring when you listen to one man's voice for a whole 90mins.

well, there are other ways around it as well...

Stream from the internet on your laptop, plug your laptop to you spanking 52inch television in the lounge at home, wala, WC for free

Haha... Is "bon au revoir" for France!

Isn't France suppose to be one of the strongest team in WC?

Must be due to "人才凋零" (lack of talent). Should import foreign talent! Haha...

they actually performed very slightly better than the WC 8 yrs ago, when they exited without even a single goal... and Zidane was in the team then.
