Hi, i bought a wireless remote for D70, and was told ML-L1 is the remote for it, but when i look at the manual it says to use ML-L3. Any one know what the difference is please?

It has the same function. Main diff is the ML-L3 permits u to change the battery. The ML-L1 doesn't have a opening to change the battery. But that is not real problem as u can open the ML-L1 casing to do it. The ML-L1 works fine with the D70. Follow the instruction in your manual for remote.

I bought the ML-L1 too, cost me $40, I thought that was expensive. But works well with the Nikon.
