I don't think you'd really learn more than the built-in tutorials and the videos all over the web can give you for free.

Learning the theory, the hows and the whys is only 10% of the equation. Putting it to use and create something useful depends on how much you are proficient in the use of the software and the artistic mind that you have.

I know photoshop inside out but I lack the patience and time to pp all my photos. I would prefer to take a picture as it is. That's photography. If you pp then it's called art. So what will it be? Photo or art?

Digital camera post processes the image it took, does it not? Photoshop allows us to process it where we feel the camera didn't do what we wanted.

I'm basically trying to shortening the learning curve.

Any post processing within the camera cannot be helped as its usually not within our control. Other than that, I find and feel that doing pp is not photography in the real sense. Its like the darkroom equivalent of touch ups. I'm still wondering whether we are showing our photographic skills or pp skills?

There is no short cut in the learning process, be it any art form. It is always a long and winding road.

It's just a basic course of using PS. Nothing great about the course.
Something like a three day crash course.
The course lecturer frequents here and is an avid macro shooter too.
