Does this mean that the WA technology will not benefit Canon users? Appreciate your reply. Thanks.

WA is only for Nikon DSLRs, Canon doesn't support WA.

should I get one or should I not.... decisions decisions. just got the MP3 player with potential 4GB to be extracted...

jbma, Canon have not supported WA yet but a fast card is still a fast card and would give better write times (though still not as fast as would be on the newer Nikon DSLRs).

Are you refering to the item CF1GB-40 Lexar Professional WA Series CompactFlash CF (40X) 1GB shown on the www.massorder.com. The price listed is $399. What then is the CS promotion, if the general public price is the same as what you are offering now? Can you clarify?

Are these Lexars the revamped versions? According to Rob Galbraith's site, these newer 40X cards have serial no. that ends with "C977".
