i think that's the Great Eggfly (Hypolimnas bolina bolina), which is not on Papilio's guide yet.

Papilio said that this species can only be found in sbwr and p ubin. He has posted this species once: http://forums.clubsnap.org/showthrea...ghlight=eggfly

i have 2 pics in my gallery.

Apologies to BC and Papilio for my mistake in writing quickly.

This is what Papilio actually wrote: 'I usually see this guy at Ubin or Sg Buloh'.

Sorry for any inconvience caused.

Hey, no apologies needed.

This is the female Great Eggfly (Hypolimnas bolina bolina). It's usually quite reliably found at SBWR and Ubin, although it can be found also in our urban areas. It used to be very common about 7 years ago, both on Singapore island and Ubin. However, in recent years, it's been taken over by the subspecies Hypolimnas bolina jacintha, which looks superficially similar, but there are some indicative markings. The females of both sub-species look very different, whilst the males are almost indistinguishable from the top.
