No trails for D3 or 1D Mk Whatever ......

    How a Hasselblad?

    Or a m4/3? Or Nex?

    Or even a D700 ..... or 7D ..... how to end up buying a D300? Or Olympus E3?

the 1st question seems like, if you have alot money go for Canon or Nikon.. else go for Sony, Nikon and Pentax.
this is totally marketing strategy. I bought my Canon 550D because I want to try photography..

basically speaking - this flow chart is a pretty nice guide for newbies
Great photography are gained not thru purchases, instead it is acquired thru practice

although it's quite simplistic, i think for newbies, it's good enough. those who are really going to go into photography in a big way aren't likely to use a chart like this to make a decision.

Note also that this guide is for buying a first DSLR, hence the omission of higher end models. people who buy anything more expensive than a D90 for a first DSLR are probably more the exception than the rule.
