    Default Bak chor mee

Hi everyone, I am a Singaporean but has been living out of Singapore for the last 15 years. Everytime I am back in Singapore, my favourite food is Bak Chor Mee. Any foodies can give me the recipe for this wonderful dish would be appreciated. Thank you.

There are tons of BKM recipes posted but the key lies in what kind of noodles and suaces you can get your hands on.

Have a look and try out the simpler recipes first, then modify to suit your liking.

Ferment soya sauce and the other base sauces at your place ah?

I think the neighbors will call your local environmental agency and report a bio-hazard attack!

lol......the soy sauce is imported one hokay....

then after that i keep adding additionally cooked "essence" and boil them up and then bottle and keep doing that every time i cook until when its time to seperate out the sediments from the sauce :-)

ts - dont bother making your own. too much work. go out and eat!!!

the one ortega is talking about is located at #01-08 Block 85, Bedok North Street 4, Singapore 460085. it is eaten soupy with minced pork.

then there's another famous bak chor mee, tai hwa at beach road which is best eaten dry. http://ieatishootipost.sg/2006/11/ta...-queue-up.html
