Hi I think photo no 3 to no 7 overexposed

Also notice that most of the shot contains lots of distraction. Example having many legs on top of the model dun look nice rite?

More chance to shoot this coming sat at ngee ann city for the finale.

btw, you caught me in the photo

First time using partial metering on the 10D. Most likely the background is not compansated for.

Hmmm... stood too close to the stage.. good point to note.. also gotta use longer lens for more DOF.

Caught you in pic #6?

thanks.

I also like the way the models sashay through the runway

Most of the shots are pretty static, also dont really have a clear shot at the runway.

Just nice to get this shot showing the "attitude"

Just my 0.02cents. It is best to use center-weight metering since subject are mostly mid-tone.

I notice that some of your photos are not well focus.

If you use potrait orientation most of the time, try not to use the center focus point. Since 10D allows you to set focus point manually, set the focus point at the extreme right or second right --> [ -] or [ - ], cos when you put on potrait orientation, these focus point will be spot on to the model's head or eyes.

It works for me this way

Wah... like that you also can see.... yup, I'm using me center focusing point. I just focus on the area where I can find the most contrast

BTW can the 10D AF servo track the models on the move using only the "side" AF point?

Yes, provided you choose the point manually. If you set it auto, it will start from center, then as the subject move, other focus point will take over... I might be wrong, read your manual to confirm.
