Default Fort Canning Park

This is my first time posting pics here, all comments & critiques will be greatly appreciated. Thanx!

On to the shots. All taken freehand, manual focus, w/o flash on a 300D with Sigma 20mm F1.8 EX.

I like the 2nd one a lot. But you might want to consider cropping out the edge of the bowl. This will help to remove any sort of reference to dimensions and sort of make the picture more abstract, ala how Monet removed the horizon in his later paintings.

Great colours (except for the B&W one that is)!

j0h0: The Sigma 20mm F1.8 can go as close as 20cm (which makes for very interesting macro/close ups since it's WA)

Supperman: U mean crop out the black areas at the top of the frame?

Yup, the black areas, so that we don't know where the bowl ends.

i love the 2nd one, maybe up the saturation a bit for more vibrant color?

I like the first two pics. For the first one, even a simple dried leaf can stand out prominently. For the second one, the colours are attractive.
