HK air is bad, but it is not evenly distributed and there are seasons, where the air is good.

I would take precautions but it would not make me reject a work offer if it is good. But the rush and generally pushy aggressive nature of HK deters me from any jobs there, even holidays.

my dad, who worked there in the 1990s, told me it is actually not as bad as the media reports it cos the HK media likes to exaggerate things. but i am not sure.... my son has bronchitis before. so dun want to worsen it. but the offer is attractive lah... provided i pass the interview.

Good luck Sam fo your interview!

However personally we really think the air is very bad, I been to HK almost annually and no place makes my nose **** as black as HK, in a matter of days.

Great for shopping, but otherwise, think first.

HK is not bad already compare to those cities in China that are full of heavy industry...those places is hazy whole year round and I only see blue sky a few times only in the last 1 year.
