Am planning to purchase a D 70 Kit and a Nikon AF 80-200 AF 2.8D from Alan Photo., Sim Lim Square. I am new to Singapore and would like your opinon/ experience (good or bad) about purchasing from Alan Photo.

From the info gathered here, AP is good if you know them well and / or have done your homework on prices and product knowledge. Otherwise, I would recommend Cathayphoto.

Check your prices, get an equote etc and insist and check for valid Nikon Singapore warranty card and dealer stamp and you'll be alright.

Well... I would assume they would be using the prices for credit card (if there is a difference, I know Alan Photo & MS Colour would, not too sure about Cathay)... installment is just for us... they still received the $$$ from credit card centre when we puchase...
