So, based on your extensive research in the priceguides section, what do you think is a combo that would suit you?

If YOU don't know what YOU want, how can WE know what YOU want.

That is the main question, not what model, what budget, what accessories.

Know yourself what you want. We ain't mind readers chap.

This "Recommend me a camera" question has been asked many many times, so please go through what sort of answers past newbies have asked, and try to do your research based on that. We not machine to repeat the same answer verbatim.

Not that we want to shoot you, a newbie, down, but please help us to help you.

If d700 is expensive, then go for d3000, cheapest. If that is too expensive, stick with P&S. Hows that?

Maybe u can try to type in D300s on the search function, I'm sure u can find alot of infor from there.Quite difficult for us to recommend u a camera...as diffent people got different NEEDS.The best is go to shop and try the model and have a feel of it.Then from there u decided to get a brand new or to get a second hand from B&S.Cheers!

Well, it's a Nikon camera ... it can take pictures. Good or bad picture, depends on the person behind the camera. Have you gone to the nikon website> heard of www.dpreview.com> lazy to create the link for you, you go copy and paste it yourself. sure a bit of effort won't kill ya, right?

Forget it. If you're not sure which is better, just get the more expensive one!

Obviously you don't get the hint that you need to help yourself first, before people can give you meaningful advice.

I make it clear to you here:
YOU CANNOT ASK SUCH A SIMPLISTIC QUESTION LIKE "PLEASE RECOMMEND ME A DSLR" AND EXPECT A USEFUL ANSWER

I hope that makes it clear enough for you to understand.

    lesson learnt...
just skip threads start with "please recommend, please decide, which is good, etc etc.."
