    You create thoughts of how nice it is to shoot nice photos of you with your love ones using your own very camera and equipment and not shot by some studio guys.
    You tell your mom to increase the ISO for the room when the light is too dim.

    You will tense to edit photos that u taken - not a major edit but just enhance exposure, saturation etc + borders add your name etc?
    You will start to have picky eyes too .... ????

    Because ----> I will!!

    And ----> Its time consuming!!

    But ... when final photo is done, its satisfying?

    Do you?
    when i started photography, it was on film some 25 years ago with a rangefinder yashica electro 35 ^^.
    film is hard as you wont know if what you took was well worth it until the lab process it..

    digital photography flourished as early as 2000 and only after ten years did i spent a few hundred bucks on a 2nd hand entry level dslr..
    between those years always had fun with pns cams from my very first 2mpl sony to an 8mp olympus pns.. all the while post processing and enhancing the pics using PS..

    now with an entry level dslr, i hardly touch PS as much as i did during my PnS camera days.. although there are some occasion wherein PP is really needed if you want to achieve something in what you have shot which looks very normal but has a potential to be a good shot given the right post processing.

    You will wonder how nice you mom and wife looks if she is frozen in the photo when she nags rather than a video where the sound still gets to you.

    One shot kill is the best if you know ur lens well enough.
    time to invest on a noise cancelling headphone nagging = reject. next = physical liao.
    Well, is pp still necessary if you guys post your photos on fb or alike low-res site?

    out of 100 photos i take,
    i pick 30 of the best,
    i spend almost one whole day trying to get the right editing for each photo,

    after all..

    its all worthwhile..
    not to impress but shoot to express

    I noticed:

    1. When looking back at the old photos which I thought was good then, are not that great afterall;

    2. More ruthless in chucking photos into Recycle Bin.
