Why this option is locked for Admins only , i do not see why the users can not see , who is on line ,and what the other users read ??

Privacy issues, that's why we aren't opening it up to everyone.

I do not see any harm done ,from having this operation open .

And i need some facts if there is any .

Privacy and security , is very full of smoke terms .

At list it must be open among the members , keeping the Guests out .
That's what my logic tells me so .

The reason is that we don't want people starting to track other people's movements. Although it's not a big deal to some people, it's still quite a big deal to others. There may be no compelling need to close it off to everyone except the administrators, there is no compelling need to open it up either. Coupled with my second point below, we've decided to close it off to everyone except administrators only.

Opening it up to everyone also adds additional load to the server, which results in the server slowing down.

Ok i will not insist on that ..

But with 50 users on-line averige load ,i do not see any problems ,from a technical view .
I do respect the Admins opinion , but i just do not agree.
