Default Attention Nikon Council - Canon Strikes back!

Canon Japan has today announced a new black bodied version of the 'Kiss Digital' as it is known in Japan (EOS 300D / Digital Rebel).

Wow..a rival to the D70 - .........for LOOKS...

Monkey see, monkey do

What is the point? The innards are still the same; the firmware is still as limited and crippled...

My two cents.... Somehow it doesn't look as pro as one would have expected it to look in black... Think has something to do with the finish of the paint job... Haiz... Just thank God that Nikon announced the D70 before I took the plunge with the 300D... Haha...

Ah...that means the 400D won't come that soon liaoz...

Black 300D is nicer than grey one. And when use side by side with Nikon people, will not get spotted so easily and get "hantam" by them.

The best way to improve photographically is to have a shouting match over which camera is the best.
Well done.

Actually Canon made black bodies long before their current colour scheme, so what's the big deal with a black 300D.

Ok, what is this alleged Nikon Council?

if black is nicer .. why nikon still give option for a few lenses to be avialable in grey (close to white but cannot as it is use by canon) for canon wannabe?
