    There was an article in the paper a few months ago, regarding some guys that do casting as a sport, where they buy $2k rods to cast lines in a park.

    i spend my time comparing prices of green tea cans and buying them to store in my garage, you never know when an entire swarm of xmm might descend upon me to grant me my life's greatest desire.

    maybe not only birds.. but the Birds and the Bees.. 600mm can explore deep into the heartlands or private houses..

    With enough money, it is always easy to find excitement..

    btw.. no one here supports the IRs..? So far nobody mentioned gambling as their other "expensive" hobby.. or those who put really high stakes didn't make it to be able to post..

    I'd assume Videography is also a SECONDARY or maybe a TERTIARY hobby? But then again if you have a top end DSLR...

    A rough gauge, how many HPs do you have already? Are you intending to open a HP museum or something?

    The Dai-gor-dai is really a classic, and would bring instant laughs because it is a reminiscent of the '80s... Watch HK police n gangster movie / series of that era, you'll get the idea - and I think you'd know it better than anyone else. Do keep at least one set, it is a highly regarded table top piece.

    A hobby is something that you enjoy when you have spare time, so why not? Unless of course you're a professional gambler (which can still be a hobby - where business meets pleasure)...
