I thought grey card is to get 'correct' exposure, as it is middle toned, so that when you meter on it, you will get correct middle tone exposure. I know Cathay Photo sells some grey cards, but not sure if it is this one.

For white balence, you should be using a white card.

for custom white balance, both gray and white can be used

go get a grey card ... coz the other side is white ... usually the grey cards have one side 18% grey and the other side at 90% reflectance ... so can use the grey side for exposure, and white side for calibrating white balance.

Else, go get an expodisc. I just got mine a couple of weeks back, and i'm still tinkering with it. If i have the time, i'd like to do a comparison of the various WB calibation techniques.... AWB, Expodisc, Pringles caps, coffee backs, white card, grey card etc...

Dear Mr. Ng,

Your order for one DGC-150 Digital Gray Card™ has been received. Before
I can complete the order I need to bring your attention to the shipping
cost. The cost you put on your order is for within the United States
only. This was mentioned on the website but not on the order form so
this could be the source of the confusion. The actual shipping cost to
Singapore is $3.80 USD for Airmail Letter Post, delivery in 4-7 days, or
$9.00 USD for Global Priority Mail, delivery in 4-6 days. I suggest the
$3.80 Airmail Letter rate which would bring the total cost for your
order to $19.98 USD.

If I do not receive any objections, I will send your card by Airmail
Letter Post at the mentioned cost.

Thank you for choosing the Digital Gray Card™.

Best regards,

Robin Myers
