can it used to upload photos to mem card thru the camera? I have a camera previously that can even upload mp3 to the mem card thru the camera itself, but when i tried using a80, it failed on me.
sencondly, how can i connect the usb cable from the cam to computer and using the computer to take pictures or stream video like a video cam? isit possible? |

The WinXP OS detects the camera and reads it as an imaging device under "My Computer" even you did not install the solution disk. You should be able to read / write to the CF card and manipulate the data from there. ![]() |

hmm.. strange.. i am using winxp but it is not possible to upload photos to my camera...
they dun have the "paste" function whem i right click in explorer at the a80 imaging drive.... |

Yup, your A80 is working perfectly alright. I also can download but cannot upload.
My old oly 2040 used to be able to download and upload. |

Basically, I am using my CF card reader to read/write my files. (Thumbdrive capacity not big enuf.) Btw, there's a shop in SLS selling the Imation (multi) card write / reader for $28/-. Cheapest Imation CF related thing so far. |
