alan photo no stock of s1 is..

called e past 2 days.. they say have stock.. just called cuz tot of going down to get.. they say out of stock! say something about only had 50 export sets..grh... tried to ask how come like dat.. e lady just shouted at me, "aiyah! it just means no more stock!" so much for customer service... hmm maybe ill go somewhere else to buy.. maybe slightly more ex but at least they have stock and less attitude..

but some times their service is not bad too.. maybe this time round they're just too stressed due to the respond of s1... well if u still think they are too much for their customer service.. try ms color. always  for my service. if they dont have stock.. can order with them and leave down ur hp no. they will call u when they have stock. 3 cheers for ms color

was at MScolor just now. stay bishan so go there very near so go walk walk take a look
saw S1. got quoted $860. i asked for more discounts. 850 w/gst. i din take it. still a bit high. din come with extra stuffs. only standard package: 32mb cf etc. i think bargaincity deal better. http://www.bargaincity.com.sg/digica...?CATNAME=CANON but again, add thisa minus that, add in GST somemore coming to $950!!!  wonder how much AP sells.... AP quoted me $775 w/o gst.. works out to $813.75
but they out of stock and e staff gave me attitude.. went to e shop i bought my a70 from..e lady quoted me $820 with gst for e s1 is..buut she said later this week, they having canon promotion.. its at centrepoint.. (max photo) anyway,i tried out e cam.. ok i guess is my after thoughts.. only real nice thing is e 10x zoom... IS..well... still cant shake too much ..heh... read e 2-part review of f828 by luminous-landscape.com... f828 was my dream cam but due to e noise and CA... but now the reviewer giving food for thought... so hmmm...

Charger + Batteries = $35 CF Reader = $15 The free stuff is only worth about $100, so you are still paying $850 for the camera which isn't cheap at all. BTW MS Color gave me an equote for $780 excl GST. |

Well, went down and asked abt the price, best price is $850. Too high liao. I manage to find a shop in Marina Sq selling at $815 incl GST. Still considering whether to get it there... can afford to wait awhile, hopefully the price will drop somemore...

haha... no lah..
it was a lady.. talked over e phone.. so i dun know who.. but when i asked some qns, she yelled into e phone... just asking how no stock.. cuz e day before say have then she gave a explanation of only had 50 export stock and cant sell till monday blah blah..i was like huh? so wat she meant? she just yelled "aiyah! it means no stock! call back in a weeks time.."

NOt sure if it was a typo ... but I was at Centrepoint on Thursday and they had a Canon booth just outside Coffee bean showcasing the Canon cameras incl the new ones and the price they wrote in the handout for the s1 was like $688. I wasn't in touch with the price of this camera and when I checked the Canon website, i noticed it was retailing at $900+. If u are free, you may want to go to centrepoint to check. (I could be wrong, but I think the pamplet had a typo). U can try to get them to sell u at the $700 price.
FYI, it came iwth freebies too. |
