Sigma 120-300 Focusing Problem

Just did some test myself and my lens has been confirmed to be backfocusing(things behind what i focused on appear sharper).

Owner of this lens can share your experience on this?

I will be sending to Sigma Marketing for servicing.... but lost the receipt, wonder if they will still honour the warranty(i still have the warranty card with the stamp on it).
