anyways, i hope canon release some firmware that re-enable all the disenabled functions.

okie tested

here's what i discovered
1) it uses the WB button to set FEC
2) it works perfectly, tried and tested myself
3) Once installed, u cannot set WB anymore
4) U either shoot raw, or use PS to edit after the shot

So for guys who often adjust ur WB you may not wanna install this firmware

for i already have the sigma flash

also white balance is quite important as i dun think i wanna shot raw all the time

Just some queries. After downloading the hacked firmware and installing it into the 300D, is there anyway to revert to the 300D's default manufacturer's firmware?

Also, anything on enabling mirror lockup in the hacked firmware?

yes; just install the manufacturer firmware over the hacked firmware.

you must set back all custom functions to the default before you install the original firmware. *to turn off blinking red eye symbol*

original firmware can be found on canon's website.

the actual one will not be using the WB button

i havent tried this one yet. does it work with external flash? as in, in-camera adjustments reflected on the external flash?
