How to do compression-free Rotation of pictures?
When using windows or breezebrowser etc, to rotate a picture, the file size will be reduced by abt 1/3, i shoot FINE using 300D
I check it with PS, FINE will be about level 12 in compression. level 11 is will give a file size about 1/3 smaller.
Smaller file size means less information is stored, what exactly less information do they store, besides colour, since each pixel is xxx/xxx/xxx (RGB)? I can't tell the different between lJPG evel 7-12 on the screen. Haven't done big prints to verify any difference though.
I know RAW should give the best results, but trying to make do with available resources.
Thanks for reading.
