I was shooting video half way and when the battery in MB-D10 depleted, it doesn't automatically switch to camera one. And I can't even turn on my menu to switch to main battery. So I had to off camera and take out the battery from MB-D10, then it works.

Is it suppose to automatically switch to main battery when the one in grip is used up?
    Yup. it is supposed to.

Yes, it is suppose to do that. Thats why you can set the battery order. Are you using original batteries?

Hi bros! Can i check with the D300s experts here. Do you encounter shutter speed setting problems if you let it run auto. The photos either turn out overexpose, underexpose, blur images?

errr, the only so called auto mode is the P mode,

Set ya cam to S mode, set iso to auto iso level, and from there select the desire shutter speed that u need...

    hope it helps...

I dunno if I get you correctly, if you're using shutter priority (S), the image is either overexposed or underexposed? maybe the shutter speed is too slow which overexposes the image, or too fast for it to be underexposed blurr is probably due to motion of the subject (unless you're doing panning shot)
I shoot with my A7II . I shoot with my Kalashnikov AEG. I just love shooting ;)

Reduced in which way? I don't think it can be reduced. It is working or not working. What else is there?

Yes, it is strange that there will be reduced performance after 50,000. I asked the same question but no answers. Hmm

Another case of post a question and disappear.

Well... guess we don't have to answer his questions anymore.

    Anyway here goes...
BTW if you are reading this creative-studio, "S" mode is shutter priority mode. Which means you fixed your shutter speed. So...If your ISO is fixed, your aperture will be adjusted to to get the right exposure.

    - If the light is too low, your selected shutter speed is too fast, ISO set too low, the aperture cannot open wide enough, you pics will be underexposed.

    - If the light is too bright, your selected shutter speed is too slow, ISO set too high, the aperture cannot close small enough, your pics will be overexposed.

Remember, the available range for aperture is not that great, especially if you do not have a very fast lens when shooting in low light, or if you are using a very fast lens shooting in very bright light. Aperture open and closing also affect your DoF. So S mode is not recommended to be used all the time, but only in certain situations. The mode I tend to use the most is A mode. For a beginner like you, you should start with P mode.

Also your selected metering mode will also affect your exposure.

Anyway, I encourage you to read your manual and understand your camera first and also read this Article first. Understand the concepts and try to apply. If you still have problems, come back here and ask.

If you want a tutor, you can join one of the beginner/basic photography classes offered.

I strongly recommend that you go out and shoot and create your own wallpapers. That'll be more fun ain't it?
