is there a lens for canon slr that has a range of 18-70/80 range like the nikon has?

then use the sigma 18-50

you want a full range?
you can always get .

sigma 12-24,
canon 24-135IS
sigma 50-500
and a 2x TC
which would cover you from 12-1000mm

incidentally, you may as well wait. now that nikon has a 18-70, sigma will come out with one too sometime later.

loupgarou Member Join Date: Sep 2003 Posts: 1,794	then use the sigma 18-50 you want a full range? you can always get . sigma 12-24, canon 24-135IS sigma 50-500 and a 2x TC which would cover you from 12-1000mm incidentally, you may as well wait. now that nikon has a 18-70, sigma will come out with one too sometime later.
