Default Alternative Digital Enlarger

So we have a Devere in the market for a while, I'm sure its price is astronomical, perhaps the later 504 model might have made it more affordable (any idea what price that would be?). So just a thought, have anyone tried using a 'conventional' LCD projector as an enlarger head instead? These stuff are aplenty and their prices are getting 'affordable'. Anyone wants to loan me one to experiement it? Perhaps those who have tried could share your findings? I'm sure if it works, it will give these manufacturers a great boost of business

You're thinking of using those normal LCD projectors used in schools and meeting rooms as an enlarger head?

Hmm...I feel that the resolution may not be high enough...most go up to 1024x768 only...the print may turn out blur instead; or worse, "dotted"...

Do let us know the results if you do carry out this interesting experiement.
