Default Ruddy Turnstone

These fellow came a long way. They breed in high arctic region. Sightings of these birds varies from rare winter visitors to fairly common winter visitors. It's my first time seeing them here is Singapore. They appear to be in great shape. Posting them here to share it with you.

Cheers!

It was also a mystery to me when i first saw it. Thought it was some sort of plover.

Anyway, we still have lots of chances to get more shots of these winter visitors.

SK, so this is the bird you were talking about! Nice eye-level catch, tough one considering the situation we were in!
