One of the night shots taken with Sigma 12-24 at 12mm on Nikon F90X using Fuji Press 800. Negative scan by KTDI. Comments are welcome!

Hi, I feel that the dark sky is a bit too empty. I personally like a deep/dark blue sky that will give a cool look. Anyway, may I have the chance to view the original scan?

Night shot I took resting my D70 on a ledge on the 16th storey of my block with a sigma 12-24 at ISO 250 at F4.5 and 4 secs. Any comments from the gurus???

Both pics were shot too late in the night thus you have the "floating lights" syndrome as not much details can be seen.
I would also like to see a 100% crop of the second pic. I wonder why you used such a shallow DOF. |

I usually shoot night shots between 7pm - 9pm when the sky is still blue and you can still make up building details.
A smaller aperture would result in a deeper DOF for greater detail definition especially at the edges. |
