Default NTU CAC Impresario_February

Juz have time to do some editing after submit my FYP report

I often receive "desctructive comments" for my photos..
But it's okie.. coz I need critics to improve...
lai lai lai.. anything want to say pls come here..


The first photo is too orangy.. any ideas how to improve it??




The 4th photo... my camera went crazy liao.. too dark cannot focus.

HAHA...
of course some not veri sharp lah..
I'm onli 602z + lousy flash ler..
very hard to shoot with handheld at 210mm

could be the focus not there. or DOF too shallow. out of focus shots are very common under low light event coverage.

it gets more pronounced if u r not allowed to use flash n u r using a poor low light focus camera like a prosumer or consumer camera.

i like the 1st one. great lighting effects in the background. too bad it's too grainy and not sharp enough. i actually like the orange cast... so if i were u i'll keep the orange cast.

not necessary.

i've got great results using my sony 717 with a flash when i shot baybeats 2003 in july last year.

apparently either lots of overcompression in the pics

or the pics are too soft
or the camera mis-focused.

for events like this i actually find it better to use manual flash than auto flash. setting the settings manually often gives much better results than auto. no idea why.
