Chelsea didn't look as impressive as they used to be... Drogba didn't touch the ball much, and Terry was no where to be seen in the 3 goals...

Our first silverware of the season, and in the past 3 seasons, the winner of the community shield went on to lift the Premier League crown!

    Chicharito - promising young striker.
Let's keep a look out for him when the season starts this coming weekend!

Manchester United have confirmed the signing of Vitoria de Guimaraes striker Bebe, a relatively unknown 20-year-old from Portuguese football, for reported fee of £7.4 million.

    Another young striker?!
We do not need anymore, especially after buying a promising young one in Chicharito.
How many strikers we have now?? Rooney, Berbatov, Owen, Macheda, Welbeck, Diouf, Hernandez.
I would rather he spend that money on a promising midfielder, Ozil.

    I think is becos

The forward was recommended to United by Sir Alex Ferguson's former assistant Carlos Queiroz, now manager of the Portugal national team, and had also been closely linked with Jose Mourinho's Real Madrid.

Hmm... left United but cont to talent scout for united!

I'm not at all impressed by Ozil. Welbeck just left on a loan to Sunderland. Diouf, I think dun have much of a chance at Man Utd at the moment. Seems like Fergie is not too impressed by him or is primed for next season.

I prefer Fergie to look for a Scholes replacement. Ozil suppose to replace Scholes but I think he is still far from what Scholes can do.

Anyway, United just signed a "relatively unkown" Portugese striker: Bebe.

Just hope he will be like Solskjaer.
From a unknown Norwegian, to a legendary super-sub.
