    hi guys.
    Thanks for the comments!

#1 light source: my PC lcd screen with purple color wallpaper.
#2 Taken at Bali. Vader's 1st trip to there. haha..
#3 Plan to remake it with "nicer" cake and lightning.
#4 Inspired by some shots from Flickr. =)

I like the last one. Really cute, but could use with a little more lighting and detail on darth vader's face. Focus seems slightly off too (you seem to be focusing on the black key in the foreground). Wanna try a remake of that one?

    i like this!

maybe you may wanna try clearing the red spot on the top left away? find it kinda distracting.
but still nicely done! look really mysterious and "dark".

i think the effect not that strong enough.... what lens u using for taking the shots?

must play more with manual effects.

    that what i think.

    not tat bad though.

    Hi guys,

Many thanks for the comments! Really need and appreciate it.
I used Sigma 50mm F1.4 for the shots.
Ya i would like to remake all those shots... with some improvements on the lightning and focusing.
Gonna grab a tripod this weekend.

    Thanks again! =)

Very interesting series you have here!

For #2, you seem to be focusing on Vader's girlfriend with Vader being OOF (or is it just my eyes). I thought it'll be better if you can focus on Vader since this series is about him

    Anyway, cool shots!

    Just one minor gripe.

The next time you have vader hold his long thing... Erm, lightsaber, dunch let it touch the floor...

on a side note - anyone also into collecting lego star wars minifigs for shooting? i am experimenting at home but would love to learn more from those who are already doing great works on shooting minifigs.

Stopped for some time though, due to work commitments and all. I'll drop you a PM with the shots so you can take a look.

I'm really inspired by the "A Lego A Day" project some guy did.. google for it. =)
