don't think it matters right since it doesn't write fast enough to take advantage of the faster cards.

The c5060 supports WA as documented on their specifications. Are you sure it does not write fast enough or just speculating?

my mistake then. DPReview didn't review the camera. there're some stats at Imaging Resource but doesn't really cover the write speeds:

For CF, u still can use in other platform(other brand camera) in future.
Also can sell away easier. For XD(original), the only advantage I find is that it can record panorama. But you can work around it by copying your file from xD to CF and free away some space in your xD. ![]() |

Hi, buddy, just read the CF card speed comparison :
Hitachi Microdrive 4GB Hitachi II 2003/10/30 3152K/sec Lexar Media 1GB 40X Write Acceleration (Edge stamp, first two digits: 38; WA on front label) Lexar I 2003/8/28 3140K/sec Lexar Media 1GB 32X Write Acceleration (Edge stamp, first two digits: 38; WA on front label) Lexar I 2003/4/1 3126K/sec seems that the microdrive is the fastest with 3152K/sec not the slowest. issit rite? |
