    To learn photography, I would suggest a prosumer cam. Something that offers manual controls. LX3, G11(or G10/G9), S90 comes to mind. Or get a 2nd hand superzoom prosumer works too, like a Fuji S100fd or something similar of another brand.

    eh...u mean GF-1 not good?
    it cross my mind to get those u mention before....
