    TS might want to consider DIY also perhaps? Like cutting a milk bottle to attach to the flash unit or something. Have seen a DIY for more traditional ring flash also, but it looks very tedious...

    eh...im not good at DIY, quite bad at it actually..hahas. but using a milk bottle, that's Interesting!

    too much light lost. tried one of the variants b4. and imo, it stresses the flash head cos the entire unit is supported on it.
