depending whether you need to use it or not. If I can get a good pic without flash, I would do so.

Thanks, SniperD and tmc17479. Sometime I just feel funny when I don't follow what others are doing even when I got a reason to do so.

Anyway, I will just do whatever I feel is right for me lah. Thanks

Well I think as a hobby , i really think u shld do n enjoy wat u are doing.. If u are happy with the outcome of the photo..then I dun see why u need to please others..

So long you are happy with ur own shots then I think its good enough. Unless you are not happy with it, then maybe something you are doing is wrong..

i think the first photo is good. personally i would prefer to shoot without flash, like what you said, maintain the mood and hopefully your picture will come out as 'what you see is what you get' don't think it's right or wrong to use flash or not. if you are able to capture the movement without using flash, it's good, just sometimes it's hard to capture without flash, especially with dim lights and when the subject is moving. ^_^

i do have funny feelings also, after awhile, i guess we'll just do things our own way to get what we want.

that should be the way, the pictures will then have your 'trademark'. always ask yourself if its the effect you want more important than following blindly!
