Thread: Lowepro zipper wear solution

  1. #1

    Default Lowepro zipper wear solution

I have a couple of Lowepro bags and they are excellent but theirs zippers wear out quickly if you are holding one and use it daily.

So guys any smart solution? Any guys remove the metal zipper with cord or uses a permanent marker on it or uses touch up paint marker similar for car scratches like me.

lady friends always suggest rubbing wax (candle) over the zips to smoothen it. they use it for their bags/purses. perhaps you could try
1 Camera Body and a couple lenses.

My 27 year old Lowepro still works. Worked real hard and in fugly condition, and the zipper is a bit rough I guess, but I don't think I ever waxed it either.

However, wax does help a lot on zippers.
