Image quality of Panasonic Z10

Anyone has any comments on its image quality? Is it still sharp at max zoom? Would appreciate any input. Links to galleries also very much welcome. Thanks.

The quality of FZ10 images "could be" very good. Why I used "could" is because, Panasonic purposely 'crippled' it with high compression JPG and offers no RAW mode.

There're only 2 level of picture quality (JPG) level - Basic and fine.

A typical 4MP fine mode picture is only 1.5MB in size - which is pretty small.

However, it's acceptable judging on the price you pay for this level of cam.

Just hoping that there'll be a firmware update soon, providing better JPG files or otherwise offers RAW mode.
