i think holga has a fixed aperture of F8 issit ??
would recommend faster film to use with it,any type will do just as well if u are not going for very big print, since the negatives are so much bigger than 35mm,a high speed 120 film will give the same result as a fine grained 35mm on small optical prints. |

Anyway all holgas are difference from each others....you can try to heat the lens of the cam to warp it....films wise.... i'll recommend ilford... hp-5...good tonal range |

i know the beauty of 120,but i can't scan, project or print it myself leh..whereas 35mm i can do alot of things with it..somemore contax uses CZ lens which i'm really impressed by the T3 i bought..Size is another considering factor.
How much is that sexy black 7ii asking ? |

You should select film depending on what you are trying to do really.. For example, you could pick a very saturated film to combine it with the Holga effect, or a more "pale" film to shoot toned down pictures.. Althought there are some films that are missing from the medium format line you will find that there is still plenty to choose from. Marios |

go for slide film
I used to shot negative film for medium format but it's too much of a pain in the ass to adjust the colours, print them myself, etc. plus after you see medium format slides you'll never want to go back to negatives again for black and white I recommend trying Fuji acros. the detail you get from that film is amazing, but loading it is quite something ot get used to. it tends to be thinner than other films. Ilford Delta 100 is great too. Kodak's not all that hot though, in spite of many people using it.
