Actually, its still quite risky. A shotgun can do major damage. Let's hope SAF can get them fast without casualty. Else it will be a major bummer!

the police coast guards and the navy(possible responsibility) are gonna get toast for letting illegal immigrants LAND.

some heads will roll for sure.

    1. It's going to be pretty embarrassing that our best troops could not catch 3 robbers.

    2. All you need to camouflage yourself is to get a crewcut. Instant anonymity.

It will be soooooo if those 3 jokers manage to escape from Tekong. Why didin't they just stay in M'sia, champions so clever to hideout in Tekong! Just waiting to see how this develops....

I wish success to our soldiers n policemen for this operation!
Hope those activated will be safe and can return to their family soon.

600 men vs 3 men? some think it is an easy job but i think it is like looking for a needle in a haystack.

Reminds me a bit of the tiger scare on Ubin some time ago. The tiger was never found. Maybe still there.

trainers are trainers... not operationally ready troops. those at SISPEC? do you think that SISPEC trainees are apt already with operations? i dont think so.

    Why waiting?
This is a good chance for the army to undergo real training.
Only then they will be qualified to go battlefield.
