ello... i think the main problem is that there are no sparkle in their eyes, thus they look rather liveless... use fill-in flash

he means a catchlight. where the eye 'catches' and reflects the lightsource (flash/strobe/sun...) and the resultant bright spot adds a 'sparkle' to the eye.

Most shots are out of focus. The reddish orange cast was a little strong. Don't like the arm-pit shot and the 1st pic with 'high ceiling'.

Where the focus is:

1st one lands on the mic
2nd one handshake
3rd one lands on cheongsam
4th one handshake again

err... the guide metre for the flash?

Well, you should have corrected it a bit on photoshop before uploading it. Anyway, try to work with your white balance a bit more. You can't use the same custom white balance for everything. I think there's a whole white patch behind the girls which you could have used to take white balance settings.

Anyway, here's a slightly corrected picture that I did, though there's still too much yellow and red.

Sure, there are no faults. To be constructively critical, I would say there is room for improvement. Especially, in the colours. :P

Hmm..the focus pt appears to be dead center in the majority of the shots.
