Thread: I need advise!

    Default I need advise!

Hi all, i am a newbie
I got a frz, she is using the same camera with me, SONY DSC-H9.
She can take a very nice pic only with this camera. However, i just could not produce the same quality of the pic. Her pic is so much sharper and attractive than mine.
May i know what is my problem? Any additional lens she is using??
Pls see the sample pic took by her....

Did you do anything to the shooting settings of the camera? if you did, the picture quality would be affected.

Perhaps you could check your image info for what went wrong? (like too high a iso, too slow a shutter speed,Etc..)

Her pictures are normal picture with some pp done to the picture like using Photoshop, removing unwanted areas and add in text and etc. If you are newbie, there are more to learn on the photographic and arts design done like here pictures. Take your time, it just take time to learn.

    Cheers!

erase with soft brush, then never erase properly = soft glow.

soft - set hardness at the top to 0%.

Jessybird: I think you have to set your exposure compensation on your camera to about +1 if your dress if mostly white in colour or it will fool the metering on your camera to underexpose the picture... The problem is that the pic is slightly underexposed.

Night86mare: Thanks for the replies, I still have a lot to learn about PS! My PC is slow as snails so I hardly do any editing to my pictures except some basic touch ups... I never even used the erase tool before! Sometimes opening a file can cause my PC to hang! Haha!
