    Thanks.
4.5GB at 2.4x took about 30 mins. 8x would be less than 10 mins!

hehe, guess what guys? I went again today and this time besides buying some Fijifilm photo paper, I came across this cheap Minolta QMS Magicolor 2300W. So bought it....... oh no..... overspent..... but I really couldn't resist the temptation. Not using it for photo printing of course.... but it will be the first colour laser printer I ever own.

In total, I spent about $1150 over these 4 days in the IT Show.

Bought an IR keyboard for my PDA for $59. Quite a worthwhile buy, IMO.

Went on the first day of the IT show having a thought of buying a prosumer,

wanted to buy nikon D70 or 5700, then went home empty-handed.

Went today again on its last day after reading more articles on 8mp digicams,

was considering minolta a2, entertained by a very nice salesman (justin) but still went home empty-handed.

sigh, when is the next computer fair?

Think there's a PC show coming up in June.

60 mins devided by the speed of the DVD. For example, if 2x, then 30mins plus lead-in and lead-out time, total about 31mins. 4x DVD takes 16mins.

This writer is very smooth. Some discs cannot be read from my other drives, but works fine on it. It's also quite. Overall, I am happy.
