A common spot, but I haven't come across it in my short visit to CBW, which area of the boardwalk is this? Thanks for any input guys!

    Thanks for that

Still looking for further confirmation too! There are many many flickr photos of that naked tree, but not much of a clue as to where it is.

Thanks! I was trying to figure it out from looking at the exact same map just a few minutes ago. Is it possible to enter just south of it (drop off from taxi there) or only through the jetty?

let me try to describe it from memory, has been a while...

from hawker centre to jetty, when you reach front of jetty there will be a boardwalk, maybe got a few cats here and there. those tend to be very skittish.

walk along the boardwalk away from the hawker centre, you should hit a staircase of sorts leading down to a path.. some parts merge with a beach - that's the first piece of sand you see there from one pink circle to the other. just follow that path, you can't miss the little pavillion that you see in your picture from wikpedia. that's where the tree is. below the tree there are like.. many rocks in front.

you can continue along that path beyond, and hit the beach, where you can photograph the pavillion and tree. be careful during low tide, the mud there is quite sticky, not the usual sort of singapore sandy beach. more like muck - if you are extremely careless you can lose a slipper there. so if you have an idea of what you want, check the tide timings before you go.

this is low tide at sunrise:

i think this was medium tide, a while before sunrise:

no, you cannot drop off taxi, the nearest part with car access is the jetty area.

it is a short walk, less than 10 minutes for sure.
