    Using only curves by modifying the highlights and shadows. The picture I started with had overexposure; I was trying to make some corrections which didn't work out and getting quite fed up so I just started going a little haywire on the curves and realized it was going somewhere.

    Heh, thanks. Yeah, I am always trying to capture those pic between the warm and the cold. Though have not encountered anything of "that" kind yet... touch wood!
