Want to get a tripod for nightshots use and maybe for like event coverage like sports etc. Would like to hear the recommendations from others....

As i am new to photography, i do not have much accessories....
Will be getting a Nikon F80 soon with a 50mm f/1.8 for a start. Budget wise would not like to spend too much on it maybe around 100-200 plus. |

since we are talking bot tripod .. i need to ask ...if u guy dont mind...
is it adviceable to get a monopod ... for me i kinda not have steady hands due to medication and to set up a tripod for like pic taken with shutter 1/20 to 1/60 in the day i kinda a hassle ... would a monopod be more suited for my situation? thanks |

the heaviest you can afford to pay and still carry around...
dun waste money on those cheapo light tripods and lose the stability. |
