Default metz on the d70

can someone help me out please?

can anyone tell me who or where the agent for metz is? i was told by james of cathay photo that the sca 3402m2 adapter that they sold to me yesterday could be used with the d70, but it can't.

the first time i got metz 54mz3, i was told that i just needed to get another sca adapter to get dedication to the flash for the nikon as well, so i got it. after i got the d70, i realizes that the adapter given to me was actually for an oly.

so, to cut a long story short, they refused to change it for me and i ended springing for another for the d70, which doesn't work either. so what can i do?

how much would the 800 set me back by?

don't think metz has any adaptor that would do i-ttl yet. however, you could use it with either manual or auto modes on the flash.

It does not support D-TTL also. As you mentioned use it either on manual and auto.

i tried, but no go. it can't even trigger. i got the 54mz3 because i was leaning towards the 10d initially. but ended up getting nikon.

no matter. i just got back from picking up the sb800, quite a neatly designed flash. i like.
