Hi Raymond.

No 1. is female Striped Blue Crow.

No 3. is a Common Palmfly

No 4. is one of the Potanthus species. Probably Lesser Dart (Potanthus omaha)

AH is Alexandra Hospital. There is a Butterfly Trail there. When you walk in from the bustop in front of AH, the Butterfly Trail is on the right.

not sure if the butterflies are still active during that time. normally in the morning, after the butts wake up from thier sleep, they will let the sun dry thier wings and fly around after that.

That's a bit too late already. Butterflies are normally active when the sun shines, so around 8:00am onwards should be fine. At around noon when the sun is directly overhead, they seem to be less active. Then they fly again from about 1-3pm but much less so. After that, they begin to settle down for the night, so you went a bit too late for much butterfly activity. Best time is 9-11am.
